2005 Blessing of the Animals
On November 6, 2005, approximately 50 dogs and their families came to San Pedro Park to be blessed by Rabbi Bergman Vann. This event was planned to take place during the week of the reading of the Torah portion on Noah. In addition to being blessed, there were crafts for kids, photos, micro-chipping, treats, bandanas, and lots of socializing! Many thanks to Cathy Rosenthal and the Bexar County Humane Society/SPCA for bringing staff, supplies, treats, bandanas, and micro-chips!
