Our twenty-fourth annual Brotherhood Seniors' Dinner was held Friday, February 2, 2007, on Shabbat Shirah - the Sabbath of Song. It was a warm and inviting occasion. Many of our guests expressed how much they enjoyed visiting with and being treated so well by our volunteers at the entrance and throughout the dinner. The service from our volunteers was well received, prompt and attentive. The food, cooked by our very own Brotherhood members was enjoyed by everyone. Rabbi Block led us in the dinner service, and we had the opportunity to enjoy Juliana Yaffé and our own Dr. David vanAbbema, Hazzan, as they entertained with wonderful renditions of contemporary Broadway music, some classic Yiddish melodies and even a little dancing!
