Sisterhood Committees

- Break-the-Fast Committee - This committee plans the Break-the-Fast meal for Yom Kippur for the congregation.
- Sisterhood Sabbath Committee - This committee will write and deliver Friday night Shabbat services on January 5, 2001. A Shabbat dinner, a volunteer choir and an Oneg Shabbat reception will also be organized.
- Dessert Seder Committee - This seder service is planned for the last night of Passover, Friday, April 13, 2001, and the Religious School takes part in the seder. Dessert is served after the seder.
- Cradle Roll Committee - This committee congratulates new parents and plans get-togethers for them with other parents of young children in the congregation.
- Membership Committee - This committee will focus on retention of members and new memberships.
- Interfaith Committee - This committee plans Interfaith Sabbath held annually at Temple Beth-El and open to the entire community. This year, Interfaith will be held on January 27, 2001.
- Uniongram Committee - This committee will distribute uniongrams. Uniongrams are a fund raiser for Sisterhood and Women of Reform Judaism.
- Hanukkah Gift Show Committee - This committee sets up for the Hanukkah Gift Show, which will run from November 29 - December 10, 2000. A luncheon is served on opening day.
- Sukkot/Simchat Torah Committee - This committee will decorate the sanctuary, the chapel, and the sukkah in the Jacobson Garden for Sukkot and Simchat Torah.
