                                                          HOT Shabbat (Hands On Torah)

In the Barshop Auditorium
Shabbat Services at Temple Beth-El touch the heart and mind of each worshipper; each in a different way. Most weeks, we offer a special program for our younger school-aged kids (Kindergarten through Grade 5) who attend the 6:30 P.M. Shabbat Service in the Barshop Auditorium with their parents. Children will make their own personal connections to the weekly Torah portion in a kid-friendly program of storytelling and hands-on projects. Children will leave the worship service as the Torah service begins and rejoin their parents for the Kiddush at the end of the worship service. Child care is always provided for pre-school aged children, so we encourage you to bring your entire family to experience Shabbat and to let the prayers of our tradition and the warmth of community touch your heart and mind.
