

Geri Gregory has been working at Temple Beth-El since July 10, 1984. She began her employment as mailroom clerk, and has served the Temple in various capacities throughout the years, including Publications Clerk, Computer Specialist, Information Systems Coordinator, Communications Coordinator, and she is currently the Temple’s Member Services Coordinator. Her duties include matters related to membership, the Temple Bulletin, the Temple website, the weekly email communications, graphics design, Temple photography, publicity, and institutional memory. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas, in Fine Art, with a concentration in painting.
Geri has attended most of the adult education classes offered by the Temple since she began her employment, she has studied with Temple Beth-El’s Adult B’nai Mitzvah class of 2002, the Adult Confirmation Class, and has actively pursued the study of Hebrew and Judaism. In June of 2007, Geri converted to Judaism, and immediately joined the Adult B'nai Mitzvah class already in progress, which culminated in a B'nai Mitzvah service the weekend of Thanksgiving, 2007.
In the wider Jewish community, Geri has served on the Israel Independence Day Committee, the Yom Limmud Planning Committee, the Jewish Family Service Strategic Planning Committee, the Jewish Family Service Mother's Day Luncheon Committee, and is a member of the National Council of Jewish Women. She continues her Jewish and Hebrew studies, as well as her creative endeavors.
