Teresa Parker has served as Temple Beth-El's Education Director since July 1, 2004. She graduated from the Rhea Hirsch School of Jewish Education at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Los Angeles in May of 2004. She is the fifth consecutive new graduate of this program to serve as our Temple Educator.

Before entering HUC-JIR, Parker served for twenty-seven years on the staff of Temple Emanu-El in Dallas, where she was Director of Holiday and Life Cycle Celebrations. Before coming to San Antonio, she served an internship with Temple Beth Sholom in Orange County. She comes to us with enthusiastic endorsements from the Rabbis and professional staff of Temple Emanu-El in Dallas, the Education Director of Temple Beth Sholom of Orange County, and the faculty of the Rhea Hirsch School.

A native Texan, Parker is the mother of two adult daughters, who live in the Dallas area.
