The Volunteer choir of Temple Beth-El, Kol Simchah, is an integral part of Temple Beth-El’s worship services. The members of this choir and the musicians accompanying them act as shlichei tzibbur, lay worship leaders, in facilitating our worship service. Members of Kol Simchah make music together that enhances the worship experience, encourages congregants to participate and opens pathways for kedushah, holy moments for the community.
Kol Simchah rehearses weekly on Tuesday evenings. If you are interested in joining Kol Simchah please contact Cantor Berlin. It is not necessary that you have any prior musical training or know how to read music. The main qualification is that you like to sing!
