Have small children? Looking for ways to be connected to other Jewish families in San Antonio? Temple Beth-El has many ways for you to be part of our Reform Jewish Congregation.

Welcome Shabbat with celebrations geared towards your young family.

 

A family friendly service, featuring Religious School classes and led by Rabbi Yergin, Leah Apothaker, and Joel Swedlove where we welcome Shabbat with spirited song and prayer. This service is followed by a family-style dinner at 7:00 pm in the Block Conference Center with table blessings and activities for children.

Boker Tov Café,

Sundays, 9:00-9:30 am (when Religious School is in session)

Grab a bagel and cream cheese and support our youth programming. The Boker Tov Café is run by our Youth Committee.

 

Sunday Funday! Barshop Auditorium

Sundays, 9:30 am–12:00 pm (when Religious School is in session)

Grab a cup of coffee or tea and get to know other TBE members while your little ones play together.

 

For the Kiddos…

Preschool Religious School at Temple Beth-El, 3s and 4s

Sundays, 9:30-11:00 am

Our weekly Religious School Class for 3s & 4s is a warm, nurturing play based environment where the children can explore the Jewish holidays, basic Jewish concepts and spend time with their Temple friends. This is a drop off class.

Babysitting

Child care is provided on Sunday mornings so that families with older children can participate in various family programs.
