Rosh Hodesh, the celebration of the new moon, has long been a holiday reserved for women. Join us monthly at Temple for social connections and spiritual inspiration. The Rabbis and Cantor, along with some participants will lead a discussion based on the book Listen to Her Voice: Women of the Hebrew Bible by Miki Raver, and light refreshments will be provided. If you would like to purchase the book you can buy a used copy from Amazon at https://tinyurl.com/ RH-HerVoice or directly from the author’s website at https://www.listentohervoice. com/shop-online/she-is-wisdom. Also, the San Antonio Public Library and the Bendiner Library at Temple has a copy.
This month Arlene Dryer, a regular participant in our Rosh Hodesh study, will lead a discussion about Deborah. Feel free to read about Deborah in Listen to Her Voice (listed above). Please RSVP at tinyurl.com/tbe-rhodesh so that we can plan appropriately.
