Ariel Rosen

Ariel (she/her) is a San Antonio native and considers herself lucky to call this vibrant community “home”. Beginning at the age of four, Ariel had a laser focus on anything having to do with music and theatre. Her professional career in the arts began before she had finished grade school and continues to this day. She attended high school at both The North East School of the Arts and The International School of the Americas, then continued on as a B.F.A. Musical Theatre major at The Hartt School of Music in Connecticut. Post college, she spent her early twenties living in New York City before returning home to San Antonio in 2009 to be closer to her family.

Before becoming a member of the staff at Temple Beth-El, she was a company member at The Magik Theatre, San Antonio’s premier professional theatre for youth, for almost ten years and a team member at The Public Theater of San Antonio (also known as San Pedro Playhouse) just across the street from the synagogue. She has worked in many roles within the theatre community, including running and creating educational programming, box office management and patron services, while simultaneously acting as director, choreographer, and/or a performer in over 100 productions. Outside of work and the theatre, Ariel enjoys spending most of her time hanging out with her pup Persimmon and her incredible son Eli.
