Eleanor (she/her) was born and raised in San Antonio, and has been an active member of the Jewish community her whole life. From attending the Jonathan Netanyahu Academy (Later Eleanor Kolitz Academy) as a child to being active in Jewish youth group in her teenage years, Eleanor has a strong connection to the community and a deep love for Judaism.
Having loved art from an early age, Eleanor earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design in 2016 from the Art Institute of San Antonio, and later continued her education earning another Bachelor of Fine Arts in Advertising in 2018. Before coming to Temple Beth-El, Eleanor worked as a graphic designer in the wedding and event industry. As the Marketing and Communications coordinator, she is responsible for crafting and telling Temple Beth-El’s story to people who are already connected to the temple and to those who are not, drawing them closer into our community.
When Eleanor is not working, you can find her spending time with her family and friends, traveling, attempting to bake something that looks as good as it tastes, or simply scrolling through social media.
