Guest Passes
A High Holy Days Guest Pass will provide you with the opportunity to attend all worship services. Whether you're visiting family or are a community member seeking a place to celebrate the High Holy Days, we are honored to welcome you to Temple Beth-El. We invite you to join our community for this sacred season by requesting a guest pass online.
Book of Remembrance
It is a sacred Jewish tradition to remember our loved ones on the anniversary of their Yahrzeit and during the Yom Kippur Yizkor-Memorial service. We invite you to include the names of those you wish to remember in this year's Book. Remembrance is deeply personal, and we welcome you to commemorate those who hold meaning for you. The submission deadline is Sunday, August 30, 2026.
Memorial Plaques
Honor the memory of a loved one with a Memorial Plaque in the Wulfe Sanctuary. Each plaque is engraved with the individual's name and date of death, creating a lasting tribute within our sacred space. Those memorialized on a plaque are remembered in perpetuity through inclusion in our Yahrzeit Memorial list, the annual reading of their name during the Shabbat service closest to their yahrzeit, and inclusion in our Book of Remembrance for Yom Kippur.
Order Lulav & Etrog
Celebrate Sukkot with everything you need for the holiday. We're offering complete Sukkot sets from our trusted supplier in New York, with each set including an etrog, lulav, myrtle, willow, and a lulav bag. Pricing, ordering information, and the order deadline/shipping dates will be announced soon.
Temple Beth-El is pleased to offer childcare for infants through age 7, allowing parents and caregivers to fully participate in High Holy Day services. Children ages 8 and older are encouraged to attend worship with their families. Register for babysitting services here.
One of our cherished High Holy Day traditions is our annual Food Drive. Pick up a brown paper bag on Rosh Hashanah, fill it with nonperishable food items, and return it on Yom Kippur to help support neighbors facing food insecurity. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our congregation, last year's drive provided the equivalent of 33,361 meals for the San Antonio Food Bank!
