Youth Engagement
At Temple Beth-El, we are proud to nurture and inspire our Jewish youth through meaningful programs that strengthen identity, community, and connection to Jewish life.
Sunday Funday (ages 0-4)
Three times a year, a clergy member and volunteers lead a special Sunday Funday designed just for little ones and their families! Celebrate Jewish holidays with storytime, crafts, music, and free play in a warm, welcoming space. This program is perfect for infants through age 4—a joyful way to introduce children to Jewish traditions while parents connect with other young families in the Temple Beth-El community.​​

Youth Group
There is no cost or registration required to join Youth Group. Simply register your child for the individual events they would like to attend!
Youth Group is divided into three age groups—grades K–4, 5–7, and 8–12—allowing students to participate in programs and activities designed specifically for their age and stage.
Programming for grades K–7 is overseen by Olivia Polivika, while grades 8–12 is overseen by Ethan Haas. Both Olivia and Ethan are also Religious School teachers, so there’s a good chance your child already knows them! Having familiar faces leading Youth Group helps create a welcoming, comfortable environment where students can strengthen friendships, build new connections, and feel more connected to our community outside of the Religious School classroom.
Childcare Services
Temple Beth-El offers babysitting for children from infants through 2nd grade during services, providing a safe and nurturing environment while parents attend worship. We encourage children in 3rd grade and up to join their families in the sanctuary and be part of the service experience.
All children participating in babysitting must be registered in advance to ensure proper supervision and care.
Religious School
Temple Beth-El’s Religious School offers a dynamic and engaging Jewish education for children from Pre-K through 12th grade. Through interactive learning, music, holiday celebrations, and community building, students explore Jewish values, traditions, and identity in a warm and supportive environment.
